Pantronic solves the problem faced by millions of musicians who share our passion for wind instruments: Flute, clarinet or saxophone cannot be played silently. They always have to coordinate with their environment in order not to annoy roommates, family members or neighbors.
Our company provides the solution: We have developed a technology that converts commercially available wind instruments into electronic tone generators by simply replacing the mouthpiece of the original instrument with an electronic version designed by us. Haptics and playing style are not affected at all - the only difference is the sound generation: only the person practicing can perceive the sound generated through headphones, while there is silence in the room itself! This is achieved through a combination of standard pressure sensors with our patented technology based on machine learning.
