STAP is an Austrian technology leading provider of solutions for airports, especially for goods management and air cargo monitoring. We develop hardware and software for controlling and managing expensive goods in secured and restricted areas, such as on the apron of an airport. We are always working on a level much higher than “state of the art” and are a Strategic Partner of IATA, the international air traffic organization. Our customers are airlines, airports and many specialised branches in safety and security environment.
If you are a skilled developer of hardware and/or software, we have the perfect job for you. This comes with a lot of responsibility after you have learned more about our company and our working environment, and you will work in research and development projects with national and mostly international partners.
Your job will be the basic development of prototypes which are based on existing concepts and development results. With the aid of ESA, at times we need to include space technology in our products.
You will become part of the complete hardware or software lifecycle from the idea to a working prototype. You will have the chance to specify requirements and you will implement new features.
You are a very skilled and motivated developer, have studied engineering science, informatics or other technical engineering disciplines at a University or similar institutions. You should be fluent in English and German. We know that not all the skills that we require can be found in one candidate. Therefore, we are looking for 1 person who is more hardware-oriented and 1 person who is more software-affine.
We are open for developers that are recent University graduates, as well as for candidates with senior-level experience. What matters are your skills and how well you will be able to realize the ideas of our customers with their specific use cases.
