Scale-up & Industrialisation

Take bio-based surfactants from proven chemistry to industrial production. Lead scale-up, work with manufacturing partners and help build PureSurf’s first demonstration facility.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD

• Scale chemical processes from 200 L batches to 100t/year operations.

• Lead technology transfer to external manufacturing partners.

• Drive batch-to-continuous transitions where suitable.

• Embed process safety and engineering constraints from the start.

• Support design and construction of the first demo facility.

WHAT YOU BRING

• At least 4 years of relevant industry experience.

• Hands-on experience taking chemical processes from laboratory to pilot or industrial scale.

• A degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

• Comfortable working in English. Based in Graz or willing to relocate, with hybrid working where the role allows.

• Valid EU work permit.

WHAT WE OFFER

Shape how our technology reaches industrial production, with responsibility for process development, scale-up decisions and technology transfer.

From €62,558 gross annually on a full-time basis.

Higher pay depending on experience. Potential equity participation.
