In Transit first Develop Call with 1.5M€ to support sustainable proposals by European innovative SMEs is open

In Transit, which aims to strengthen the resilience of textile, aerospace, construction, and advanced manufacturing SMEs across the EU, launches the first Develop Call for proposals, with a total budget of 1.5 M€ to support European SMEs.

The call is addressed to the European SMEs that plan to develop sustainable solutions, as processes or products, due to the implementation of new circular business models.


The development of innovative and sustainable processes, products and new circular business models is essential to increase the competitiveness of textile, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and construction industries. In Transit project underlines the need to find new business models and circular economy opportunities in cross-sectoral fields to gain resilience and global strength.

Taking this into account, In Transit launches their first Develop Call for proposals that that are addressed to SMEs with innovative and sustainable solutions that could be part of cross-sectoral and cross border value chains in the relevant sectors.The Call has a total budget of EUR 1,5 million to provide financial support to innovative projects from European SMEs.

DEVELOP vouchers are the main instrument of In Transit project to support and consolidate innovative technical demonstrations and integrations in improved processes, new business models, or value chains. In Transit aims to select 30 projects who will receive a lump-sum support up to €98k€ per consortia, with a maximum of €49k per SME.


On January 25th at 14h CET, the In Transit team will organize the first call for proposals info-day with presentations about the In Transit project, the call details, the submission procedures and the evaluation information. Teams Connection Link
