SortiTech develops a modular conveying platform, that automates material flow for small, sensitive goods. Starting with trading cards as a high-value use case, we enable a fully automated process chain from identification to storage and order picking.

This results in reduced manual, repetitive work while increasing throughput, consistency, and operational efficiency. At the core is our in-house developed drive unit: The OmniShifter®. It moves items in any direction, supports vertical transport and enables controlled rotation up to 360°.

Built from small, linkable building blocks, the system can be configured into different layouts for workflow steps such as pre-sorting, inspection, singulation, and final routing. The platform is scalable and can be adapted in size, payload, and throughput for different applications. Starting with micro-goods and moving to larger items next.

For new use cases, we build on the same hardware platform and adapt mainly the software to the specific product and process requirements, enabling fast optimization across industries. Beyond trading cards, the same handling is applicable to sectors like pharmaceuticals and cosmetics for compact products and packaging.
