Interested in extending your knowledge in python programming and  spatial audio ? Then extend our team as an intern!

We are looking for a student in the broader field of signal processing, informatics or audio engineering for a temporary internship. While the start date (May-July) and the duration (3-6 months) of the internship are flexible, one thing is not and that is your commitment to hyper-realistic spatial audio.

Your responsibilities

Within the internship your mission will be to support our development team by working together on our internal python package: atmokypy. Your tasks will be to implement and test cutting edge digital audio signal processing algorithms in the field of spatial audio, for both software and hardware applications.

You will learn all there is to know about creating python classes and modules, writing unit-tests, and automatic testing on our CI/CD machines.

Your profile

• A passion for audio and sound
• Good python programming skills
• Fundamental Digital Signal Processing knowledge
• Familiarity with common python packages like numpy and scipy
• Basic knowledge of version control (GIT)
• Experience with digital audio workstations (e.g. Reaper)
• English and German language skills

Our offer

Temporary internship (up to 6 months) with the prospect of permanent employment if both sides are happy.

Part-time or full-time and for a duration of at least 3 consecutive months with a minimum compensation of 1.594€ gross p.m (full-time basis - according to IT collective agreement) .
